The Consortium:

*       Formulates standardized Clinical Practice Guidelines.
*       Discusses Clinical problems and management issues.
*       Prepares educational materials, media tools and conferences for families and patients.
*       Provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of relevant research.
*       Collaborates on clinical research projects.
*       Represents the provider community to federal, state and local governments.
*       Advocates through relationships with community organizations.

Membership

Membership to NEPSCC is open to anyone involved in the care of patients with sickle cell disease including, but is not restricted to, physicians, nurses, social workers, child life specialists, and psychologists. There is no charge for membership.
